Jill Christensen is a former Fortune 500 business executive, who led Global Internal Communications at both Avaya and Western Union. She is a best-selling author and international keynote speaker, and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt. Jill was named a Top 100 Global Employee Engagement Influencer and her popular blog was named a Top 100 Corporate Blog alongside of Apple and Microsoft.
Dan Latendre is the Founder and CEO of Igloo Software – a company he has led from a start-up in 2008 to a globally recognized company, now experiencing explosive growth. Throughout his career, Dan has served in key management roles in the creation of leading edge internet-based technologies and applications for a number of tech companies including MKS, Delrina, and OpenText Corporation. He is a member of the Canadian Council for Innovation and an advisory board member for Communitech’s SME initiatives.

Alan is an industry veteran and renowned keynote speaker on The Future of Work. His research focuses on how innovations in both Personal Productivity and Team Collaboration can enhance how employees get their work done. This includes the evolution of both technology and cultural aspects of communication, conversation, collaboration and work coordination. Current topics include Artificial Intelligence, Personal Analytics, Mixed Reality, and Creativity and Storytelling. Alan has an Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and worked at IBM/Lotus and Socialtext before joining Constellation. As an industry analyst Alan helps guide the product roadmaps of some of the world’s largest software vendors, has presented at conferences around the world, and provides advisory services and workshops to organizations of all sizes.
Julie manages the brand and communications practice for SiriusDecisions, a leading research and advisory firm serving b-to-b companies. She has more than 25 years of broad-based marketing and communications experience in brand strategy, corporate communications and employee communications. Prior to joining Sirius, she held a variety of leadership positions at consumer and tech companies, including an eight-year stint as the vice president of corporate marketing at Skillsoft, a leading global e-learning provider. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, birdwatching, playing the flute and checking out the food scene on the New Hampshire seacoast, where she lives.
Darren is a Strategic Alliance Manager within the Microsoft Commercial Partner Group and manages the relationship with several leading ISV partners. Darren joined Microsoft in 2001 where he has spent time as the Director of Platform Strategy and Enterprise Marketing and has held various Product Management roles. Prior to his tenure at Microsoft, Darren held product management positions at Hummingbird Ltd and Sybase, Inc. He has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada. As part of the Strategic Alliance team, Darren has been working closely with Igloo to support their integration with the Microsoft cloud platform.
Jim has always been interested in bringing people together and connecting them to one another, whether it’s for events, online communities or a food/craft beer tasting.Helping people develop new appreciations while building deeper connections has always been part of his business and personal life. His deep understanding of content and program strategies, grounded in his years as a community manager, helps him connect with community managers whether they’re just getting started or a seasoned professional. Over the last twelve years, he’s built and managed communities and consulted with both start-ups and large enterprises on how to effectively build lasting value with community and social business solutions. He started his community-building career at DCI, where he launched B2B communities to support specific markets, including customer relationship management (CRM) software, enterprise architecture, online portal software and b2b marketplaces. He continued his career as a community strategist for Shared Insights, a boutique digital strategy consultancy for large organizations. Prior to building The Community Roundtable, he helped launch Mzinga, a community platform company. As a social business/community strategist, he’s advised a wide range of clients including Cisco/WebEx, Deloitte, H&R Block, EDR, iRise, Aetna, GSA, BASF, CSC, Riverbed and Black Hills Corporation.
Jeff Leatherwood leads internal communications at the Ford Foundation, in support of the global philanthropy’s efforts to challenge inequality in all of its forms. Before joining Ford, Jeff made a living as an actor and musician, performing musical theater around the country. He began his career at Walt Disney Imagineering, where he worked for nearly a decade on creative projects and attractions for Disney theme parks and resorts around the world.
Mike Rocco is the Manager, Employment Branding and Communications. Since joining the Hulu team in 2013, he has lead the creation and launch of Hulu’s first social intranet (Huluverse), an engine for fueling employee engagement and reflecting Hulu’s culture and values. Mike oversees Hulu’s “Powering Play” employment brand and social media recruitment channels to attract and retain top talent. Additionally, he leads the internal digital messaging strategy for Hulugans. Mike is an accomplished designer, producer, speaker, video editor and writer. Prior to becoming a “Hulugan,” he enjoyed more than 20 years at The Walt Disney Company in theme park operations, corporate communications and marketing and design roles.
Mike is a digital transformation enthusiast with proven experience in leveraging technology to help global teams increase both productivity and the pace of innovation. An excellent communicator and a skilled strategist, Mike has also led several marketing departments through periods of significant transition including mergers, acquisitions, and rapid growth. Mike Hicks brings 20 years of experience to Igloo and leads all marketing efforts, including responsibility for bringing new products and services to market. Mike is a recognized leader in global enterprise software marketing and specializes in transforming disparate marketing silos into integrated demand generation engines that grow company value. He is adept at creating a culture of sharing and alignment against a common set of objectives, across all functional teams responsible for supporting product success.
As the Director of Project Management, Sean Duffy advocates for customers throughout the planning, design, and development cycle at Igloo Software. He serves as the product owner for Igloo Mobile, Igloo Desktop Client, and other key features. Sean applies his extensive experience in enterprise software to the Igloo development process. He has been practicing Agile Development for more than 10 years as both a product manager and software engineer. In every release cycle, he strives to deliver exceptional value and quality to customers. Prior to joining Igloo Software, Sean spent 17 years developing enterprise software in diverse roles, including product management, software engineering, and quality assurance.
Sorena Tiba combines a background in technology and support with expertise in digital workplaces to guide multinational corporations through their digital journey. As a Technical Sales Consultant, Sorena applies use case methodologies to assess client requirements and determine the right Igloo solutions for their needs. Over the last seven years, Sorena has worked in the technology industry, specializing in learning and collaboration platforms. Her love of technology has taken her from roles in technical troubleshooting and community architecture building to platform demonstrations, sales, and even coding.
