Annemarie is the Director, Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, where her primary role is to help move evidence into active use across partner networks to support the acceleration of cancer control and reduce the burden of cancer for Canadians. A lifelong learner, passionate change agent and digital native to the core, Annemarie leads the Knowledge Mobilization Strategy and Digital Strategy teams.

Over the last three years, she has led the implementation of the Partnership’s organizational digital strategy and rolled out a new hybrid team structure that includes embedded KMb Leads across program teams at the Partnership. Now focusing on new approaches to scale up and spread successful cancer control initiatives, Annemarie is interested in working with programs and partners to effectively engage target audiences in integrated KMb for the purpose of policy and practice change. Prior to joining the Partnership, Annemarie held a variety of roles spanning clinical research, healthcare consulting and digital strategy in both the public and private sectors serving markets in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia over a twenty-year period. She was a founding team member of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, and a recipient of the silver MM&M award for the best disease education program.
